E-Bike Lending Library

In March 2026 I began volunteering at the Roslindale branch of the Community Pedal Power E-Bike Lending Library. Each week I communicate with borrowers about their preferences and schedules, walk them through a 15-30 minute e-bike orientation and test ride, and check them returned e-bikes at the end of the one-week free loan. During our busy time of the year we lend out all 12 e-bikes in our Roslindale inventory, plus more at the main branch in Porter Square, Somerville. I also work on publicity materials and improving the website. Overall, this has been an amazing way to meet people from different Boston neighborhoods and help them figure out how an e-bike can help their family and reduce car dependency.
